The Megawise VS6621 vacuum sealer in the second dry food test. Similar to the first test, the sealer finished a working cycle in 14 seconds with a peak vacuum of 33 kPA.

The BonsenKitchen VS2100 sealer during its first dry food test session, where we used it to vacuum-pack a bag of black rice grains. It achieved a peak suction of 30 kPA in a 6-second working cycle.

The BonsenKitchen VS2100 in the second dry food test session. This time around, it achieved a slightly higher peak suction at 34 kPA, but also a longer working cycle of 6 seconds.

Moist Food Test

The Megawise VS6621 vacuum sealer in the first moist food test. The sealer took a lot longer than in the dry test, taking 50 seconds to finish a working cycle with a peak vacuum strength of 49 kPA.

The second moist food test for the Megawise VS6621 played out in a near-identical fashion, with a working cycle of 49 seconds and a peak vacuum strength of 47 kPA.

In the first moist food test with fresh mango slices, the BonsenKitchen VS2100 vacuum sealer only reached a peak suction of 11 kPA in a 49-second working cycle.

The second moist food test didn’t play out any better with the BonsenKitchen VS2100. Our vacuum gauge recorded a peak suction of just 10 kPA during a 49-second working cycle.

The Megawise VS6621 is an extremely compact vacuum sealer that has garnered glowing reviews from customers as of late.

The BonsenKitchen VS2100 is fairly well-built, but it’s still obvious even at a distance that the sealer is a budget model.

The sealer has a slightly flimsy feel to it due to being made almost entirely from plastic.

The Megawise VS6621 requires a lot of downward force to click close. As such, it can be difficult to use the sealer one-handed.

The lid of the vacuum sealer is tricky to use one-handed. The user has to apply even force on both sides of the lid for it to click close properly.

The BonsenKitchen VS2100 comes with small, raised “brackets” in the vacuum channel to keep the bag straight, but they don’t function as well as bag hooks.
