It won’t do your laundry or wash your car, but it does seem to do everything else. Meats, vegetables, and even fruit come out with juicy perfection. Grilling Meats to Perfection

Even though it is multi-purposed, the raison d'être for this cooking machine is the grilling. The Ninja Foodi nicely sears steaks to perfection while draining away the fat. Users reported that their sirloin steaks came out perfectly seared, juicy and delectable. Hamburgers come out the best, but you will achieve the best results when steaming the meat before grilling.

With the air recirculation on, the Ninja Foodi works as an air fryer. French fries will come out soft and crispy, but with a lot less oil than a traditional deep fryer. It is an utterly convenient way to cook mahi mahi fish filets and salmon steaks. Cover yours with green onions and lemon juice to prevent them being over-dried.

The Ninja Foodi is advertised as an indoor grill and they don’t claim that it is completely smokeless. Some people have noticed that when cooking some types of drier meats or butter some smoke did manage to escape the internal venting system.Don’t get me wrong, the amount of smoke produced is significantly less than other countertop grills. Basic physics is at work here, and the hot gasses have to go somewhere. We don’t think any design could do this job perfectly. We recommend using the Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill with some kind of ventilation.
