Wingsol Faucet (WS-FM001-PAC) vs PUR PLUS (PFM350V) Side-by-Side Comparison
Wondering what to pick between the Wingsol WS-FM001-PAC and the PUR Plus PFM350V faucet-mount filter? Here’s our test-based comparison of the two!
Wingsol Faucet Water Filter
Tested Using Methodology v1.0PUR PLUS Faucet Filter (PFM350V)
Tested Using Methodology v1.0Overall Verdict
The Wingsol WS-FM001-PAC seems like quite a bargain. For the same price as an entry-level filter from famous brands like Brita or PUR, you get a filter with a stainless steel housing and — according to the brand — a filter cartridge just as capable as the best famous brands have offer.
But we were quite disappointed when we put the Wingsol WS-FM001-PAC to the test. The filter cartridge wasn’t able to filter out all of the chlorine in the chlorinated water we pumped through it.
The only test it did reasonably well was the filtering flow rate test, in which it scored a decent 7 out of 10 for achieving a flow rate of 0.9 GPM when mounted to a 2.2 GPM high-pressure faucet and switched to filtering mode.
And while the stainless steel housing looks luxurious and durable, the detailings aren’t quite good.
