A kitchen faucet is used almost every day, and owning a good faucet helps out a lot with your daily routine in the kitchen. A faucet is also considered a focal point of the entire kitchen when it comes down to design, so many people are seriously concerned about its look.

The Brienza BRN-SPRK-AC Antique Copper Spring Coil Faucet by Italia is a functional yet beautiful commercial-style faucet. With its solid build, its reliable performance, and the raw hue and natural sheen of pure copper, the kitchen faucet leaves little the be desired.

Let’s take a look together and see if it’s what you’re looking for.

Copper Kitchen Faucet Review: Main Features

Brienza by Italia BRN-SPRK-AC Residential Spring Coil Kitchen Faucet
Pros
  • Beautiful
  • Flexible spring neck
  • Simple installation
  • One-handed operation
  • Ceramic disc cartridge
Cons
  • Copper requires frequent upkeep
  • No deck plate

Commercial-Syle Sping Neck

When you look at this Brienza, you’ll notice the spring neck and its exposed hose, which resembles the signature look of commercial faucets. Though the hose is fixed and not extended as with pull-down or pull-out faucets, the spring gives a certain amount of flexibility to the spout.

It has a docking arm that holds the spray head. When it is docked in, the faucet works exactly like a standard faucet. Only now, you have the ability to detach and pull the spray head down close to the basin.

Nylon-Braided Hose

The water hose is made from braided nylon. The material is tougher than normal plastic, won’t rust or tarnish like metals, and is highly flexible. In short, it’s the perfect fabric for a water hose. Mind you that physical and thermal damage is still a threat to nylon, so do be careful.

The Brienza also houses a ceramic disc cartridge, which is the best and most common choice of cartridge for single-handled faucet such as this one. With it, the faucet promises drip-free operation for a long time.

Beautiful Copper Exterior

Copper fauces and sinks are loved not for its properties but for the unique vintage vibe that comes with it. The natural reddish hue of copper is warm to the eyes, and its beautifully contrasted sheen brings about a sense of metallic stability.

However, a copper finish is more high-maintenance compared to other more popular choices like chrome or stainless steel. Copper naturally tarnishes over time (you’d notice the greenish, oxidated spots), and it’s recommended that you polish your hardware as frequently as possible.

Straightforward Installation

The faucet is easy to install as it follows the typical setup of any hot and cold faucet. You just need the right tools and time to read the instructions in the manual.

The faucet will only use one hole in its installation. If you have multiple holes, a deck plate is not included. You can order one through Italia’s phone at 8774825422, and make sure that it matches.
