Boiled Peanuts Recipe
If you’re not afraid of overpowering the natural flavor of peanuts with spices, let's go creative by including ginger or cloves into your boiled peanuts recipe. Have fun cooking!
Servings: 12 servings
- 24 oz raw peanuts with shells on
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 cup water
Rinse the peanuts properly, then transfer them to the boiling pot. Add salt and water, stir until completely dissolved.
Turn on medium heat, bring the pot to a boil. Let it boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
Fish the peanuts out and there you've done the job. Pop one peanut to check if it's as soft as you want. Otherwise, return them back to the water and continue to boil, pause halfway to check until you’ve got your desired consistency.
