Homemade Honey Butter Biscuits Recipe
These honey butter biscuits only take about 30 minutes to make and only one bite to dazzle your friends and family.

For the biscuit dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter cold
- 2/3 cup buttermilk cold
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- Extra flour for kneading
For the honey butter glaze:
- 3 tbsp salted butter melted
- 2 tbsp honey
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray baking tray with nonstick spray, or use butter to grease the tray.
In a stand mixer, add in all-purpose, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed to combine.
Cut the butter into small chunks. Add to the flour. Mix on low speed until the flour mixture becomes crumbly.
Add honey and continue mixing to combine.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add in buttermilk. Mix until everything is just combined. The dough should be a bit sticky.
Dump the dough out onto a floured work surface, sprinkle some more flour on top of the dough and form it into a ball. Knead for a couple of times so that all of the clumps come together, pat it down and form it into a disk, about ½ inch thick.
Cut out the biscuits with a round pastry cutter, about 2” in diameter. Gather dough scraps and form them into a disk again and cut out more biscuits. This recipe should give you 10 biscuits in total.
Put the biscuits onto the greased baking tray, placing separately from each other (about 1” in between).
In a small bowl, combine honey and melted butter, and mix well. Then use a party brush and brush the honey butter glaze onto biscuits.
Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 10-13 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
Take the biscuits out of the oven and brush them with more honey butter glaze. Leave to cool a bit before serving.
