Tzatziki Sauce Recipe

Tzatziki sauce is one of the easiest and quickest dishes on earth to make. It’s even more simple than boiling an egg - there’s no heat involved and you don’t even have to think about when to put what in.
The ingredients are pretty common and can easily be found in just about any supermarket. Again, replace plain yogurt with Greek yogurt if you can.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz low-fat plain yogurt
  • 10.5 oz English cucumber 1 medium, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic 1.5 clove, peeled
  • 1/2 tbsp dill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Ground pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse for about 30 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl. Serve right away or after cooling in a fridge for about 2 hours.
