If you’re in the market for a juicer, there are a lot of things to consider before placing your order. Check out this Dash juicer review.

By ·Updated

Juicing has become increasingly popular over the last few years for its amazing health benefits. However, the decision of which juice extractor to purchase can be fairly confusing, especially with so many different models on the market. Check out this Dash juicer review to find out whether to buy it or not.

Dash Juicer Review: The Defining Features

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe removable parts
  • Easy to assemble and disassemble
  • Included recipe book with thousands of recipes
  • Low pulp juice
Cons
  • Low-quality cleaning brush
  • Traces of pulp in the juice

Sleek Design

The Dash juicer has dimensions of 14.1 by 9 by 18.3 inches and weighs 8 pounds. Therefore, the storage and movement of the tool is pretty simple and convenient. Also, you won’t have to worry about it sliding, thanks to the suction feet on base.

The 102 oz. pulp container is made of black opaque plastic, a stain-resistant and easy to wipe clean material. This material is also used to make the juice container lid and the plastic trim piece on the front of the juicer.

The juicer has a chrome base with a 3-inch feeding chute, which is large enough to juice most fruits and vegetables as a whole.

Powerful Motor

Dash promises decent performance with its 800-watt motor that operates at 120 volts. That’s not particularly high for a juicer of this type, and it’s going to have difficulty processing hard roots such as ginger or curcumin, but it’s efficient for most types of fruits and vegetables.

Easy to Operate

The juicer comes with two-speed settings for different ingredients. Use the low setting for softer fruits and vegetables, and high setting for harder produce as outlined in the instructions.

Assembling the product is also generally not very different from most other centrifugal juicers— only that you’ll need to install a rubber nozzle onto the juice spout. The nozzle is essential to ensure a proper exit of the juice into the juice container.

It lacks alignment markers on its filter basket, so you might have to spare a few seconds of trial and error for proper installation of the basket.

Dishwasher Safe Parts

Most of the parts are top-rack dishwasher safe for easy and quick cleanup. But you can as well decide to wash them by hand. Either way, the whole process will take you just a few minutes to wash and dry the parts using a soft cloth.

One problem with the rubber nozzle is that it’s a dust magnet and tends to get dusty easily. The basket filter also requires a unique specialized cleaning tool because of the razor-sharp blades at its center and a fine mesh around the perimeter.

Reasonable Warranty

The manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty from the day of purchase. The support team will first try to fix the problem, and if they fail, a return authorization will be issued. You’ll find more details on the back page of the user manual.
