Nourishing Juice That Lasts
Typically, juice produced in centrifugal juicers doesn’t last more than a day even when it is refrigerated. This is because high-speed blades tend to cause oxidization and heat, destroying some of the nutrients and breaking down molecules in the juice. This degrades the juice and robs it of shelf life.
Now Breville has incorporated their patented cold spin technology and elevated juicing system technology to overcome this problem, producing juice without creating any significant heat build-up.
Unlike other centrifugal juicers where the juice is collected in the bottom of the juicer over the motor and blades, cold spin technology sends the juice into a jug alongside the juicer. This keeps the juice cool as only 1.8°C of heat is transferred to the juice during the process.
Keeping the juice cool ensures that the micronutrients are preserved and the molecules remain intact. That’s why the juice from this machine will, according to the manufacturer, last for up to 72 hours in the refrigerator.
The Juice Fountain quickly accomplishes the task of juicing your fruit and vegetables. It has an 850-watt motor with a choice of two speeds. The low speed runs at 6500RPM and is good for softer produce. The high-speed runs at 13000RPM and is used for hard fruits and fibrous vegetables. Breville’s steel Nutria disks will juice even the hardest fruits and vegetables. Like most centrifugal juicers, however, the Breville doesn’t do a great job at extracting juice from leafy vegetables.
The Breville chute is a generous 3 inches wide, saving you the time and effort of having to chop your fruit and vegetables into smaller pieces. Most times you can just drop them in whole.

Durable and Easy to Maintain
The design and color of the juicer will fit in with both the traditional and contemporary kitchen.
For a centrifugal juicer, it has quite a large footprint. This is partly because of the large juice and pulp jugs that accompany the juicer. The product has its own sealable 70-ounce jug, so you can make a large batch of juice and then just pop it into the refrigerator to enjoy later. The pulp bin is a massive 115 ounces. The machine has a custom-designed juice nozzle that prevents spillages.
Most of the juicer components are dishwasher safe. The product comes with a cleaning brush for scouring fiber and pulp from the mesh filter. The juice cover and jug and sealing lid must be hand washed in warm soapy water.
All plastic components are BPA free. The filter bowl is made from durable stainless steel.
The Breville BJE430SIL comes with a 1-year warranty.
